Thank's where you get the big bills. Onboard, cellular off and wifi and bluetooth on. Almost like being home. You can use wifi calling or an app while onboard.

Jan 6, 2023 · AT&T considers USVI as stateside so calls don't roam to BVI towers except maybe on the far east end of St John. I always turn off roaming on my phones so it can't use other towers. You should be able to use all the features of your phone just as if you were back home.

With our AT&T plan (as much as it pains me to say nice things about AT&T 😀), we discovered that while 'in country' our unlimited data and messaging plan was included - no roaming charges at all, just like being home. I heard folks with other providers say the same thing.

Feb 1, 2017 · If you know how to dig into your phone's network settings, you should be able to select VZW only. That will prevent you from connecting to another network. Verizon uses its own network. So does AT&T. This won't work for other carriers as most of them share towers with Alaskan carriers, although T-Mobile runs on AT&T most places.
