One man, aged 70, died and four others have been sent for medical treatment at the Rambam Hospital in Haifa, Israel's Magen David Adom (MDA) emergency service said on Monday. Israel's police said it was on the scene of a "stabbing attack" at Hamifratz Central Station in Haifa.

A stabbing attack at a bus and train station in Haifa, northern Israel, resulted in the death of a man in his 70s and injured four others. The attacker, an Israeli citizen from an Arab Druze town, was neutralized at the scene.
