Some light rain is expected overnight into Sunday morning, potentially affecting the start of the Fort Worth Marathon.

North Texas will see a warming trend, with temperatures rising from 60 degrees on Saturday to in the 70s throughout the upcoming week. The week will be mostly sunny, with clear skies at night and light rain possible on Saturday evening.

Friday night’s temperatures will drop below freezing in areas where skies are clear, mostly for folks along and north of Interstate 20. The D-FW area will go from 37 degrees during the day Friday to 27 degrees Friday night. Rain chances will start to move south, to Central Texas.
