Team India faces a huge setback with Jasprit Bumrah being forced to miss the Champions Trophy due to a back injury.

Star fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah has been officially ruled out of the Champions Trophy due to a continuing back injury. Despite undergoing several scans and therapy sessions, Bumrah has struggled to recover to full fitness since the fifth Test against Australia in Sydney this year when he was injured.

India's pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah has been ruled out of the Champions Trophy after failing to recover from a lower back injury in time for the tournament, the Indian cricket board (BCCI) announced on Tuesday.

Rohit Sharma was happy with India's outings in the ODIs against England. Jos Buttler, on the other, said that the Three Lions couldn't make use of the chances India gave them throughout the series.

India are in Group A and will begin their Champions Trophy campaign against Bangladesh on 20 February before taking on Pakistan three days later and then New Zealand on 2 March
