Free agency is starting to heat up around the NFL, as teams prepare for the new league year. One of the positions that isn't as valued as highly as the others, but has significant value is off-ball linebacker.

The New Orleans Saints certainly regret losing out on Zack Baun amidst his breakout 2024 season, and now he will hit 2025 free agency as a top option.

For starters, Garrett is entering the second to last year of his previously signed five-year, $125 million contract. He carries a cap hit of just $19 million this season and $20 million next year. He could also sign a different extension with Philadelphia to lower those hits over the next two years.
