Kim Mulkey, the LSU women’s basketball team and their next opponent have a history. Remember the Virginia Tech team that the Tigers defeated in the 2023 Final Four? Kenny Brooks, the coach of those Hokies, is in his first season at Kentucky, the program he's now building with an assist from point guard Georgia Amoore.

LSU head coach Kim Mulkey is an outfit connoisseur, and that hasn't changed this season. If it's something unique, brightly colored or with a distinctive pattern, Kim Mulkey will wear it. She opened LSU's season in November with a sequined butterfly sweater and even wore an exotic pink tiger sweater in December.

On Wednesday, the LSU women's basketball team listed Aneesah Morrow as questionable to play against Georgia. On Thursday, the No. 7 Tigers (25-2, 10-2 SEC) ruled their star senior out of action on the game-day update to their availability report,

Coach Kim Mulkey said that Morrow has no structural damage in her left foot. She's battling a little soreness left from a contusion she suffered Sunday in the No. 7 Tigers' road loss to No. 2 Texas. LSU does not expect her to miss more time.
